Taiji Warrior Yoga is a unique formulation of Yoga mixed with the Chinese Art of Tao Yin the historic precursor to Qigong and Tai Chi Chuan.
The majority of Yoga that we are taught in gyms is based in the physical discipline that was meant to purify the body for deep meditation. It was meant for individuals who had dedicated their lives to the pursuit of enlightenment and who lived a vigorous if not harsh lifestyle. Pursuit of this activity and its most extreme forms can injure rather than heal the body.
Just as the original forms of Tai Chi Chuan were initially softened for the Chinese scholars, Yoga can be done in such a way as to develop the body systematically without causing injury. This also allows for correcting any weaknesses due to a sedentary life.
